Our first Emmott lab preprint on proteolysis during SARS-CoV-2 infection has been updated on bioRxiv. You can read it here.

With Bjorn (Vignuzzi lab, Pasteur) we added new proteomics data on proteolysis of viral proteins in the presence of specific inhibitors (Calpeptin and Camostat mesylate). In this update we were also joined by new collaborators (Yann Gambin, Emma Sierecki, UNSW) who help us validate cleavage of cellular proteins by SARS-CoV-2 proteases in vitro. Marius Walter (Eric Verdin Lab, Buck Institute) and Charly Craik (UCSF) who generated a nsp4-5 protease construct to validate some of our cleavage in a cell-based assay. Stacy Gellenoncourt (Lisa A. Chakrabarti Lab, Pasteur) who added pseudovirus data on some of the viral cleavage events we observed, especially spike 637.
